Group Therapy

Dr. Loew has been leading group therapy sessions for over 25 years.  This highly effective modality provides a shared basis for exploring one’s issues and learning from peers.

The group setting serves as a microcosm of each participant’s world.  As such it provides a safe environment for each patient to explore and alter attitudes and behavior and to extend those changes into the outside world.  As a result, group therapy is especially conducive to resolving emotional and relational issues.

To complement the group sessions, Dr. Loew typically recommends that patients also get individual therapy.  This dual approach allows for greater focus on each patient’s issues, and it enhances and accelerates the benefits each patient can achieve.
